Cutco Hunting Knife Review

My first knife review. Not an expert by any means, but I have gotten too much use out of this knife to have not at least talked about it on camera.

I have one of these.  It is ridiculously effective. I've dressed multiple elk and mule deer with mine. I liked it so well I bought the Ka-Bar too.

@dblader333 No, the metal is not the same, nothing with the Cutco name on it has ever had half decent steel. The Cutco Explorer is cheapo 440A stainless, not 1095 Cro Van.

@RebelWrestler45 the CUTCO KA-BAR only has CUTCO's DD edge near the handle im pretty sure the metal is the same (cant be sure tho but it still has the forever guaruntees)

@jj987987987 it wont go dull =3 trust me if it ever would (after yer grandkids get done using it after you AND yer kids) ye would only have to send it to the factory to get it sharpened and only payment is shipping

a hunting knife with sawtooth!? do you use it as a steak knife? A good hunting knife should be suitable to use in wile environment which means it has to be easy to sharpening. As long as you don't use your knife to cut though something on a porcelain, you don't need that. It will be hard to sharpen after then knife went dull.
