During the summer of 2010 my family was given the opportunity to drive President Obama's motorcade from Marine One at Tulip City Airport, to a ground breaking ceremony at Holland Michigan's new LG Battery plant. Riding Shotgun in the van, my dad took the opportunity to shoot video while we were rolling. All politics aside, this video is the account of our experience driving the motorcade. The music is by the incredible Jam Samich!

  • What makes mw shudder is knowing that all that it would take is for one of those guys on the security detail to be some renegade psycho fanatic that was willing to be a "martyr" for some crazy group with opposing politics or ideology... I personally commend Obama for his stance on EVs... we NEED to stop giving oil money to the very people that fund terrorism-- IEDs, suicide bombers and weapons of mass destruction, as Iran in particular is guilty of. TY, Mr. POTUS.

  • @billdale1 Yea that is an interesting thought, it did make me a little nervous to be that close to the prez. Most of those armed guys like the cops and swat never did get into line of sight of the prez outside of a vehicle though. The only ones that really did were pretty much the secret service.
