Think this was put together by a photographer called Geoff Stern , he filmed the whole thing on the fly on London Underground around 1984/85. Sent footage he had to producers of 'The Tube' Tv show (where i think this clip is from) hoping to get more money to finish it off.

Never heard anything else about it . But whole thing deserves to be seen , Excellent stuff.

Thanks for the info stelos. I never knew the name of the guy who was behind it. This footage is from The Old Grey Whistle Test. A longer version appeared on the Tube (I remember kids dancing up the escalators etc in that version). It would be good to see if anyone has any of the longer versions that were made and aired. @Galasphere348 i have a ..jeeez 28 year old vhs tape that i obsessively recorded every little bit of poppin or breaking on uk tv back in the day..this was a proper class clip, im sure some of the guys were from a london crew (who's name i forget /maybe streetwave or something), but they were in another clip all waring blue tacchini tracksuits,dancing to captin rock...
