SWTOR Patch 1.1 -- Intermittent Flickering and Flashing

This shows what's going on when those flickers occur. Some are saying there's a loading screen issue, and that might be, but it's a separate issue.
At one point my fps gets very bad. Neither the poor fps, nor the flickering, was happening for me before 1.1. My settings are low, and my drivers are all up to date.

This game has...or should I say had...so much going for it. I love the story line for my character, but it is SO buggy. I know, I know, it's a new MMO, but I can't help but feel we are pretty much paying a monthly fee for an extended beta test...it was a rushed game at the end. They wanted a Christmas release date, but I don't think the game was really 100% ready.

Not random. They are screenshots I'm showing a freeze frame of what it looks like during the flickers in order to illustrate it's not just a flash of light but something else.
