Being geographically isolated for ages, we had been conditioned to think what we had been thought. Now we know, our earth is just a microscopic dust in universe. There is too much resentment from still isolated ego centric fundamentalists. What i see is just like a naughty kid expressing anger to accept going to school and learn outside of mom's safety.
Our limited perceptions are being replaced . Humans are evolving for Good beyond sex, race, religion and geographic boundaries

jizo goes west, the flower children flow gently east, the amanita muscaria grows north, the tree of life is verily all things, everything is transformed by love

@presentlightoftruth Well, his wife died of breast cancer very early on. That's probably why he doesn't have kids. Job was diseased and childless too, and he wasn't considered morally lazy. I'm unfamiliar with Wilber's work. Could you give me a link or some quotes you're referring to?

@unityspirit52 I think it works for some people, but forcing religion on everyone is only going to lead to convoluted interpretations of what might otherwise be the wisest of teachings.

@unityspirit52 I think its more analogy than anything though. The light being described is pure consciousness. Just as physical light floods into the dark void of space through stars, consciousness flows through us as living beings in what would otherwise be a realm of emptiness. There's two forces at play, dancing with one another, emptiness and somethingness, yin and yang, etc etc.
This video series has completely changed the lives of a few very confused and psychologically tortured U.S. Marines. Thank you very much.

Ken Wilber has actually shown (through his books and philosophy) most new-age approaches to spirituality hold very little, if any, legitimacy. Almost all forms of typical "New Age" practices can be considered just an extraneous unnecessary pre-rational 'coating' to authentic spiritual expereince or realization.
