SLIDESHOW: The ghost town of Ironton is in the Red Mountain Mining District on the Million Dollar Highway between Ouray and Silverton in Colorado. There are many old homesteads still standing as well as old mines. The Joker Boarding House and the Yankee Girl Mine are some of the most famous structures of this area. This video covers photos from summer, autumn and winter.

There's no camp grounds, but you can primitive camp anywhere in this area.
