This flick is homophobic shit- Pacino doesn't even acknowledge it in his filmography- it is appreciated by ignorant straights who don't know any gay folks and self-loathing gays, who have probably done a lot of the sick shit that Friedkin slops up on the screen. It deserves it's universal condemnation.
