Draft breeds LOVE their work! Even my 10HH shetland cross Jasper, Spunky as ever will go right from rideing horse to pulling me in something with onlya few hrs of ground work done. He pulled me in a regular childrens sled in the 1st snowfall, theres noting wrong with this! they are given quit enough rest! an look at the way they trot to him begging for work to do! they love the guy and their work! Stop bugging him! Id'e tell u to F yourself too if i had to get this bullshit all the time.... >_>

your horses all seem very relaxed, you must be a good owner. i've never had a problem with carriage horses in New York, they have been doing it for years and i have meet carriage horses from other cities, they all seem happy enough and at the gate they all came up to so so they seem to like you :)

What about people who don't care about their pets? Should we just ban pets because some are unfortunately mistreated? How many kids are abused in a year? Should we ban people from having kids?

And if you can find a field anywhere in the world that doesn't have any bird or rodent poop in it, let me know. My field is full of rabbit poop, bird poop, and deer poop.

Why is living on the 2nd story bad? Those horses will never have ground water seep into the stall, a major issue in my barn.

LOL- if the exhaust is so bad- why aren't biker, pedicabbers, and other humans allowed to work outside not keeling over in NYC? Because the pollution thing is a bunch of CRAP that IDIOTS want to believe! The lung of a horse is SO FAR AWAY from the mouth & nostrils that I would PAY YOU to show me ONE SINGLE HORSE that has reapiratory issues from working outside in NYC. You need to complain to your local gov't if you think it's too polluted for a horse on your streets!
