Watch Sierra Club intern Sarah Lerner tell us about how students at her university are promoting clean energy, and then reply with your story.
We'll collect all the videos and deliver them to the Senate with a message:
"Americans are promoting clean energy and green jobs locally in our homes and in our communities. Now it's time for Congress to take action nationally by passing strong clean energy and climate legislation."
I think the best way to reduce carbon emissions in the west is to have an immigration moratorium. Statistics clearly show the USA population grew by 100 million in the last 40 years and nearly all the growth was due to immigration.
The west could drasically reduce carbon emissions with a reduction in immigration and population and would have nearly stable growth in the USA with a moratorium on immigration.

Great idea! I've no video, but also use compact fluorescent lights, walk & bike, drive a hybrid, recycle thoroughly, & am very careful with water use, etc. In California, the snowpack, mountains, rivers, farms & ocean are all part of the lifestyle and web of life we enjoy as Californian humans. These systems are being degraded by our use of fossil fuels, by pollution, and are threatened by global warming. Our ecosystem badly, BADLY needs clean energy and the jobs for the future - Keep it up!
