Just another excuse to forward there propaganda."we are all doomed"- heard that one before. I want first Proof of Global-warming (pls Not El-gore shit) then we can start to blame who did it and who is to take responsibility! for now, IT IS US! Western Civilization who is destroying not the planet but our own eco. after us, the planet will continue with less hostile mammals. because we are JUST PLAIN STUPID. American-Indians/African/Abori
ginals living for 1000 years, and we just take 200 Years! -
Hack the planet.

Hacking the planet is a good thing, we are already doing it just not 'deliberately'. Some focus would be great.
Ideally we reduce our population (sumhow) down to half a bil' and live in one place, let nature have the rest of the planet. [nah thats a shit idea]
A Type1 Civ uses and controls its planet. We are still very much a type zero civ, fighting, praying, voting.
Hacking the planet is not a bad thing, Irrigation has been around for, um, 1000s of years...

you cannot slingshot earth toward mars because that will greatly upset the very careful orbit our planet has when it revolves around the sun. if we change earth's orbit just a little bit it could cause the Earth to rotate even closer to the sun. thus changing the climate dramatically making winters unbearably cold and summers unbearably hot. in some places that is the case. but messing with orbit could cause much more harmful effects. :D

We could put specific types of trees in tops of buildings of cities to help regulate the amount of heat that the roads and asfalt and concrete generate due to long exposure of light. These trees could also maybe be the ones that have the highest efficiency against pollution. Also you could make mass plantations of rare and almost extinct plants spread out in forests and environments in which they could adapt, also giving potential for non-agressive commercial use with sustainable develpment.
