I didn't see this clip but I can almost guarantee that it was caused by wheel spin. I can make my speedometer in my E39 jump close to 120 when I lost traction and rev high. The speedometer might say I'm doing 120 when I'm actually going 20.

I agree with you, i just think the guy is jealous... I have a friend who just turned 18 and his mom got him a 335i paid cash and modded it already (you can see his videos under one of my other friends account search "red3series") My car I bought myself and I'm only 21 but just because my friend has parents that can afford to buy him things like his 335i and mods doesnt mean i should judge him in any way like that, nor does it mean he is better then me.

Actually, I just looked at the clip at 2:20 and it's a obc test, and it basically checks to see that all the gauges are functioning properly. I've done it before in my E39 and it's pretty cool.
