In this part we hear David Arnold's (composer) first theme song - "The World Is Not Enough" performed by Garbage on #17. We see also the very entertaining interpretation of "Diamonds Are Forever" by David McAlmont which was featured on the David Arnold James Bond project "SHAKEN AND STIRRED". Further we learn, that the collaboration between John Barry and a-ha while working on "The Living Daylights" (#16) wasn't that funny as expected.

JAMES BOND'S GREATEST HITS is an entertaining documentary produced by NORTH ONE for the british TV station "Channel 4" in late 2006. It's a countdown of 22 Bond's Greatest Hits determinated by a public vote to find UK's favourite Bond song.

In this documentary You will of course see Bond film clips and music videos. But that's not all! You'll also find out about backstage battles and controversies behind the songs, the rejected Bond themes and rarely seen performances or videos of the artists.

In my opinion the BEST documentary about Bond songs!

  • "The world is not enough" only on position 17? This sucks!

  • @therealKINDLE well each to their own but The Living Daylights was the reason why I got into a-ha lol. Good film as well xD

  • i heard a version that the Living Daylights was originally written by PAul Waaktaar and Magne Furuholmen while they were on tour with a-ha two month ago under another name for their next album, they had writen also the tune, then they were asked to work with barry, and when the song was completed barry was frustrated cause he didnt wrote the song, and for the credits he puts his name instead of furuholmen, and waaktaar claimed that barry didn had to be credited, cause he didnt do anything

  • THATS all David Arnold did to get the Place of John Barry? Do that piece of shit Album of Inverse Ratio Singers with vague talent to sing & Ruin the Classics, up against Electronic Bass, Looped Beats & Bitter Cultral Cocktails? The Only Good Song on it was OHMSS! And that was Done by Propellerheads! NOT Arnold!

TWINE wasn't anything Special if you ask me. It was the Safe move. And Aha's Living Daylights.. Yeh I Liked the Orchestral Stuff! Pity about the POP Over the Top. Aha= Chavs of the 80's

  • WTF is that at 0:18 ?

  • @glennbo72 That's David McAlmont, and he's doing a damn fine job.

  • @zangief co za asy..

  • In what twisted world is Garbage's "The World is Not Enough" not in the top 5 on the list of greatest Bond Songs?!

  • This is ace!

  • Thank you so much for posting this!
