@SirYami220 What I mean with popsounding produciton is for example In Flames "A sense of purpose" where some parts could sound a little brutal actually but instead they made it sound like happy popmusic, basically. I prefer this brutal sound over stuff like that, anyway. I guess it's not perfect, but at least far better than ASOP and that stuff.

@MarkuSsZ If you like music that's horribly clipped and distorted sounding that's your perogative and I respect it. The sad thing about what you call "popsounding" production is that a lot of pop music produced today sounds just as bad as this. Louder is better, but not when it's brickwalled to death. Would you rather have the record companies control your volume or do you like to have control over it?
