They need a Special Edition where the little aliens have afros and platform shoes. That tall skinny one has a pimp outfit and their ship plays the theme song to SHAFT.
And Richard Dreyfuss is replaced with Donny Osmond.

Hey, I know that version, it was a bonus 45 record that came inside the official Soundtrack record album. That version sounds similar to this, they're both disco :)
This version if from Pickwick records and it's a synthesizer re-creation of the John Williams score.

I have always wondered. Is that tall skinny critter the 'captain' of that huge vessel?Was that the one that greeted Lancombe, or was it supposed to be one of the many that came out an grabbed thier choices for a ride? Are we dealing with three separate sizes of aliens in this movie, or one that was misrepresented by the budget and quality of special effects of that time? Hmmm.
