Learn how to build a fully programmable robot for only $50 at
http://www.societyofrobots.com/step_by_step_robot.shtml

This is the robot programmed as a simple case-based photovore. As you can see, it is trapped in the small 'box' of light coming through my window.

  • As ,I understand the robot will follow the light ?? but How without cam ?

What's the goal from this motions ? Could U explain please :)

  • @engtaco It has basic light sensors on it called photoresistors

  • hey can the programmer header be a usb port

  • @uday932 If a bootloader is preloaded onto the mcu, yes.

  • @palmisano I mean the $50 robot's mcu

  • @uday932 The ATmega8 doesn't come with a bootloader installed, so no, you can't use USB to program your $50 Robot. If you use an ISP programmer to upload the bootloader, then you can use the USB to program. Ask around for friends who already have an ISP programmer to save you some money.
