My thoughts on DBZKai Frieza (with extra bonuses)

I owe all inspiration for these first 2 pieces to Gozar and his comment on Daizex forums about Chris Ayres' Frieza and how he sounds like Yzma from The Emperor's New Groove.

The last bit of the video was just something random I thought up a few weeks ago and only now FINALLY got some decent clips for.

@call4dead3 If you mean the clips to Bohemian Rhapsody, it's from a movie called Final Fantasy VII Advent Children (or Advent Children Complete). Complete is a "Director's Cut" if you will, of the original film. It's the sequel to FF7 which was a PS1 game released in the US in 97.

I think Ayers has come a long, long way. I didn't like the delivery of his one little line at the end of episode 19, but he's gotten better and better ever since then. I love the new Freeza voice.........well, *now* I do, anyway. I didn't at first but he won me over.

@TheShockMaster Yeah, I've heard that he's gotten a LOT better since Frieza first appeared, but I still will always miss Linda Young and her performance (oh well, that's why I have my Season Sets! : D)

LOL I loved the Advent Children - Bohemian Rhapsody part. You should gather more clips and make a video using the whole song. That would be insanely epic. :)

But I gotta say, I'm kinda like Frieza's new voice. It's not terrible to me and it's actually rather creepy sounding. Kinda makes him sound a bit more evil. Though I do wonder rather or not he'll work on changing his voice at all for Frieza's transformations.

@QuakesGameSpot Thanks! Yeah, I'm just annoyed because if he's going to sound like a bad Linda Young then they should have just kept Young. Though if he DOES change his voice with Frieza's transformations I think I'll be okay with it as that will be kinda cool.

I disagree. Chris Nails Frieza better than Linda did. He's got far more of Ryuskei's stye.

@ShaunInce123 Well... that's your opinion, and that's cool. I enjoyed Linda's Frieza, but I don't really like Ayres's take on the character, but that's just my opinion. Different strokes for different folks ya know ?

I'm not too crazy about Ayres's Frieza either. I think one of the main reasons he gets so much praise is because his lines are so well written. I wish they would have kept Linda, hearing her perform Frieza with the new, more accurate dialogue would have been awesome. And Clinkenbeard's Gohan.... I'm not even gonna go there.

@Fluteo Linda Young has a good frieza voice but Chris Ayers sounds better and he tries to make frieza his own not Linda's you what happened when the funi dub tried to sound like the ocean dub
