Ah, yes. My birth town. Last time I saw it I was 6 yrs old or so, that was around '73. Then with all the fighting we went to other towns in the province itself. Then lived in Kompong Chnang/Bovel area during Pol Pot era, then refugee camps, then USA. I went back to visit in June08. I almost cried when I stepped out of the taxi and looked around. The whole town didn't change as much as I had imagined. What beautiful and sad memories the visit brought back. Thanks for posting.

When I made the video I had never been to Battambang before, but I was able to spend a few days there this summer. I made some good friends and saw many of the sights that the great singers commemorate in their songs.
