@MsTaliDali It depends what you want out of a device. I like the Nook Tablet because it is ultra-portable and runs Android, so you have more freedom to download apps from the internet and load them in. You can also side load in your own content like graphic novels, comics. The ipad does not really let you load in apps from the internet and its hard to load in anything but music, books, pictures. etc.

i hate the i company ive gone through three i pod touchs and one iphone and they broke like the home button got stuck and the lock button got stuck anotherone wouldnt take a charge after three weeks

@TheSlipKnot981 Troll. Of course I know what those are. Apple is not the be-all and end-all. I like their iPods for music listening purposes, they are long-lasting, work well etc. At any rate, I'm now looking into Blackberry Playbook as the limited and overpriced Nook apps concern me greatly.

@bearboyn It is $30ish on Amazon for a 32gig HC microSD card. I am sure lower capacity cards are much cheaper. I paid more for the 16Gig HC MicroSD card for my NikonD40 several years ago - WAY more!

I've seen an iPad in person...it struck me as being an overpriced screen that looks a bit like a laptop, without the handy keyboard. Plus, far too large to easily put in a pocket/handbag/etc. My friend has a Nook tablet and she let me play with it - I feel that it is well-made (doesn't feel cheap or flimsy) is nice-looking, I love that you can put a microSD card in it (it takes HC cards!) and the fact you can hang decorations from it. :P

I don't like to really compare two really different tablets. The only thing that I liked about the Nook Tablet was the fast browsing speed. Well at least that what I think!

there's barnes and nobile app but there is a nook app my mother has the nook app
