People keep saying that musical tastes change, so the pop songs today are supposedly as good as the Beatles ever were.

But once anybody listens to classics like Hey Jude without any kind of bias it exceeds any expectations that Niki Minaj, Justin Bieber, 1D, or any modern pop singers and bands hope to meet.

Alright, so 'classics' is a bit general of a term, sorry about that.

And you're right, there are some modern songs that people (including myself) like better than this one. I just think that many modern artists today like JB, 1D, Katy Perry, etc. are rather overrated, and that they don't put out songs of quality like the Beatles did.

Oh, and I know what you mean by 'old doesn't equal good,' there are things like 'tiptoe through the tulips' that make me cringe.
