Singing of Mull of Kintyre has nothing to do with Celtic. It was in the charts 1977 at Christmas and we adopted it like we did with the Queen song We are the Champions. 1977-78 the season Forest won the First Division for the first and only time. There were mist rolling in from the Trent in those far away and happy days. As Dean Martin sang Memories are made of this.
By the way we dont sing it because we played Celtic twice, why would anyway sing a song due to that ? The mist did literally roll in from the trent in the 70s and that is why it sung. You could see against Derby in December that the mist was incredibly thick :)
@PrestonNorthEndFan You never said anything bad about "Florist"?! You contradict yourself right there. And also disrespecting our song is in itself saying bad things about the club. Also I should note your are misinformed as to the reason we sing the song.
Don't go making up fibs about PNE having a song. Your attempts to give your pointless little club an identity fall flat on its arse mister.
As for delusions of grandeur. The mere fact you attempt to compare PNE to Forest speaks for itself
@mashedup1987 We actually have a song about PNE you little cretin, not a song that is nothing to do with our club that we got from playing a club once some 30 years ago. Like I said before, I never said anything bad about Florist. Your a typical Florist fan, delusional sense of grandeur. Just for the record Preston North End have been English champions more times than Nottingham forest.
Immature?! I'm not the one commenting on and disrespecting other clubs song. Whats your clubs song like? Oh that's right, you're to small and boring for one. Enjoy league 1
