  • Excellent! I have a 897D myself. What are you using for an antenna?

  • In this video I was using a whip cut down for ten meters mounted on my truck bumper. Moving to a new QTH and cant wait to get a real antenna up. Thanks for watching.

  • Can't wait to upgrade. In the process of studying but its on the back burner for a bit. We are also in the process of moving to a new QTH. Thanks for watching.

  • Can you change the display light to other colours ? Is it better rx than the Icom 706IImk2G ?

  • Yes you can change the color. Im not sure about the difference between the 857 and 706. I have not ever used a 706. I sure do like my 857. Thanks for watching.

  • why is it 5908? i thought it was signal report and cq zone...

  • How come its difficult to hear the party CQing in?

  • un pile up con este orden es imposible en europa con los italianos tan cerca..... que envidia!!!!!!! esto si que es radio!!! congratulations !!!!!!!

  • 80 or 40 metres should do it

  • i mean the contesting not the radio

  • wow so cool but i dont think so

  • like watching paint dry

  • what would be a good logical length for a roof top or bumper antenna for 80 or 40 m? Whip antenna of course.

  • I have my display color set up to change from green to red as RX and TX signal increases! :) And mine is very freq stable, I'm never more than 10Hz off from WWV with no freq drift. On 2m/440 ssb/cw I can hear other stations drift as they TX, but mine stays right on freq and I don't have TCXO. But I can't get the DNF to work at all. 60Hz super narrow AF DBF very effective on CW. I work Japan daily in morning on 40m CW with my ATAS 120. I want to get IF filters installed someday. Bob KD7EX/M

  • Same from me too...! looking at getting one of these.
