Tim: Station out in Fort Bragg?
John: No, Germany actually.

John: It actually doenst' matter where you are in the world, it's never bigger than your thumb.

Tim: special forces, huh?
John: uh, yeah sir.
Tim: If you do anything to hurt Savannah I'm gonna have to break something. Her father would expect me to say something like that.

Savannah: The way people act arround you, it's like they're scared of you.
John: I'm not as scary as I used to be.

Savannah: I like your dad, he may have problems, but he loves you. I can tell even if you can't.

Savannah: Last nigh I fall asleep worring about you.

Soldier: question permission to extend my tour, sir.

Savannah: do I have to say this?
