McLaren was a complete tosser! He took a lot of credit for other peoples' hard work and, lest we forget, actually STOLE Adam's original band from him!!

@kittyprydekissme You must be young. He was very HOT HOT HOT during the New Wave and Punk times. He had several hits and probably one of the best live shows I have ever seen....and I have seen a TON. If you were in high school during Good Two-Shoes that explains alot of what you missed. (No offense intended)

Maybe it was different in other parts of the US, but where I lived, Adam's popularity was very brief. And I know his chart success wasn't any better than what I mentioned before.

But none of this is a criticism of Adam. I really wish he'd been as huge here as in the UK. And I wish his popularity hadn't faded so fast. Vive Le Rock was fantastic, and it never got the attention it deserved.
