  • Still have big love for Adam!!

  • Love this interveiw, love Adam and the Ants..........

  • "He thought it was his right to be number one on the charts" lool gotta love that man

  • Brilliant!!! Kev Mooney is one of my mates. Thanks for posting this.

  • @kittyprydekissme He was HUGE in MY School in Miami One of MTVS first Video Icons .Him an Elvis Costello in the Fast Times era .Almost like Lady G. or something HUGE ! But they were done by 83 so..

  • McLaren was a complete tosser! He took a lot of credit for other peoples' hard work and, lest we forget, actually STOLE Adam's original band from him!!

Good riddance if you ask me!

  • look at him hes GORGEOUS. ive still got the same jacket that hes wears in ma wardrobe doesent fit no more sadly.

  • Is there anything McLaren doesn't try and take credit for? Oddly no-one else does

  • @kittyprydekissme You must be young. He was very HOT HOT HOT during the New Wave and Punk times. He had several hits and probably one of the best live shows I have ever seen....and I have seen a TON. If you were in high school during Good Two-Shoes that explains alot of what you missed. (No offense intended)

  • Maybe it was different in other parts of the US, but where I lived, Adam's popularity was very brief. And I know his chart success wasn't any better than what I mentioned before.

But none of this is a criticism of Adam. I really wish he'd been as huge here as in the UK. And I wish his popularity hadn't faded so fast. Vive Le Rock was fantastic, and it never got the attention it deserved.
