USS Midway (CVB/CVA/CV-41) was an aircraft carrier of the United States Navy, the lead ship of her class, and the first to be commissioned after the end of World War II. Active in the Vietnam War and in Operation Desert Storm, currently, she is a museum ship in San Diego, California.

  • @AstroChickenII Yeah they do. I guess this is the only episode you've seen. Check out the Robin Olds Episode, or Richard Candaleria. Shit man, there's plenty more than that. Besides, this is an American show broadcast mainly on American television to American viewers. Is it so wrong that we want to comemorate our veterans for their service to our country?

  • @goingcrazy1019 I agree, the most decorated ship in the history of the USN is scrapped ignominiously and we preserve others. Makes me sad how unsentimental my service is, at times.

  • I remember visiting the Midway in 2010. Really great museam and a wonder of engineering to those not familiar with naval vessels (like I was). I remember playing the simulator game they had on the Hangar Deck. I got 3 kills flying an F-8 before the game administrator decided to be cheeky with his F-14. Sparrows aren't very friendly.

  • The Original Big E shouldve been spared instead of scrapped/

  • DIE Migs Die !!

  • LOCATED ON HARBOR DRIVE..NORTH OF SEAPORT VILLAGE.....

  • @svinehunden

    is there such videos..??..

  • Shut up, dirty mouth(prostatetyrant)! Nobody asked your opinion. Men don't go to war to defend this country just so you can spit on their hard work and sacrifice with your tongue.

If you got something worthwhile to say, have the manhood to talk like a grown man(any dumb gangbanger can cuss, but it takes a man to get to the point...cleanly.) Otherwise, have the grown-up sence not to force your filth on others.

  • The Midway was NOT scrapped it is open to the public as a museum in San Diego. I toured it 2 years ago & it is in good shape was a great tour. The tour guides at each station are fantastic because they try to hire retired guys who actually servbed on the Midway & they have some great stories to tell. If you are ever in San Diego see the Midway, it is definitely worth it.

  • Another wikipedia warrior.....

  • all I can say is, the information is out there, on the internet where both sides post their claims....some of it is common sense (which you obviously lack and find hard to comprehend) and the rest is through well known contacts that are well connected.

All you have to stand on is an internet site...this is not enough statistical info to be truthful or significant. Numbers don't lie....sucker.

  • @Spadadiforza Come on man, who are you trying to fool with these lenghty sentences, give references, otherwise shut your mouth!
