Yes, she did :/ aside Frm the ending the Anime itself is pretty awesome though. Where it ends on the anime still continues unto it's manga counterpart which is a must read. This AMV never gets old. It's awesome!

@Erishime though i havent read the manga (and dont plan on doing for personal reasons) the anime was awesome..as long as your not squimish and dont mind for a-little homo-eroticness (friend's opinion, i dont see it though) here and there...then by all means watch it
