pandapilch when did i say i believed that this "creation" was an accident? im an agnostic. there is more than 2 belief systems you know. i'd love to believe your fairy tale religion, but it's absolutely absurd to believe it based on christianity's history. im not asking you to accept derogatory comments about your shitty movie star either. im simply seeking a little revenge for the bullshit i was forced to swallow all my life living in a conservative christian society.

@monodave1981 You shouldn't be forced to swallow anything and if you were I'm sorry. I wouldn't ever think to force my beliefs on you and I'm completely against people that do. What I will say is that I have had my own unique experiences which have led me to my faith and no one can knock it. It is a rock.

Once again I'm going to ask you to stop your disrespectful remarks towards David Ward. If you can't do that then the simple thing to do is keep it to yourself.

I was using it as an example to illustrate how ridiculous YOUR logic is re: repressed curiosity comment. And hey im not the one here who believe in a heaven where angels fly around and a hell with a real life devil in it! or a noah's ark where every animal on earth fit onto one boat! even if i was claiming that all christians wish they were heroin addicted terrorists, i dont see how it would be any more ridiculous than what the bible says to be true

@monodave1981 I actually think it takes a lot more faith to have your beliefs, which is that this creation we are all happening to live in is purely an accident. Try and logistically rationalize that if you can. The only objection I had with you was your disrespectful comments towards David Ward which I found very immature. I can handle you telling me that you think what I believe is all a pile of hog wash but what I will not accept are derogatory remarks about people I know and respect.

so does that mean when christians talk about different types of sin, for example drug taking, promiscuous sex, terrorism, stealing etc it's really because they secretly are repressing their desires to partake?
