The "consequences" of Conservatism at its full is not what you think. For the last couple decades, "Conservatives" in Washington have been so far left, they are practically Liberal.

If we had full-blown Conservatism, there'd be less government, less tax, less restrictions on business and innovation, increased civil liberties, and a stronger economy. Why? Because that's what "Conservative" means... it means being conservative in government, tax, and regulation.

Calm down. Have some dip.

americans just need to wake up. republican or democrat are both just covers for greedy people that will steal from you in one way or another. this is evident in all voting to give themselves raises as our economy tanks and our nations debt doubles. this is disgusting we need to destroy the political party system and remove this government from power replace it with the constitution and write about its true meanings. I'm not sure what flaws he sees in our constitution.

@jim1flyer I never heard of the “Liberal Constitution,” but I keep hearing about the living-constitution. However, I cannot find a copy of one. I’m afraid I need to purchase a teleprompter to read our living-constitution.

@Mike10four : Exactly what the Liberal Constitution would say. The only rights are those granted by the elite, the only law is what the elite decides that day and it's all guaranteed by the living constitution that elites re-write when they feel necessary.

@Jackgildern, "If we had full-blown Conservatism" We'd have bans on science in schools, controls on every aspect of personal lives, road-blocks in the pursuit of hapiness, etc.

The founding fathers were liberal in the classical sense, but not in the modern, and conservative in that, that's how things used to be, but in today's world they wouldn't fit well with either.
