@33pantera fedor has no technical striking, silva does, fedor has absolutely no bjj, silva does, more skilled, hell no not even close, fedor hasnt been number 1 since 2005

@70fg 4 us true mma fans, wtf so if someone dont believe he is 1 there not a fan.lmfao. fedor was good when he first started, but 2005 up he was fighting nobodies/guys past there prime or guys ranked 10 to 15. fedor use 2 be good, but he is not the number 1 hw no even in top 3, he use 2 be but not now, jus cause u use to be a badass dont mean u get 2 stay 1 forever

It happened to Nogueira first because he was actually fighting Top HWs

Great analisys man.

With the small gloves, the jab is more of an offensive tool than in boxing. In boxing, its used as more of a "setup punch", i.e. leading up to something else. In MMA, the jab alone does much more damage. Koschek didn't just "walk through" the GSP jabs, he was taking a great deal of damage in the process. The Diaz brothers have used a "jab" of sorts forever - somewhat of a half-punch. Effective indeed.

Great analysis. Agree 100% with what you had to say. For us true MMA fans Fedor will always be #1. Athletes has their moments in any sport or competition where they were the Man. Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Michael Jordan in basketball, even Chuck Liddell. All of these people have been the man at one time or another at their sport. I personally think Fedor's problem is he's not as hungry as he once was. He's hinted at retirement in the past, to me his mind is not all there.

hate to break it to you. He is the same Fedor but MMA has grown. Big Foot is just better. He will beat any Fedor

@libertines24 I think he is to an extent, but I also believe he has lost a step. He isn't the same guy from back in 03-05. Regardless he will still go down as one of the greatest fighters ever.
