Animal Was modeled on Moon Bonzo didn't make it big until after animal did All three were awesome drummers but Buddy Rich rules over them.

If you notice he uses both the classsic grip and the match grip with his left hand, AND he has at least one stick on the snare for almost the whole bit

The only drummer ever to come close to Buddy Rich has been Neil Peart. and Neil himself will tell you that he wishes he was as good as Buddy was

Buddy Rich told Johnny Carson on the Tonight Show that Neil Peart was the best drummer he had heard.

If you were to ask me to choose between Peart and Rich I wouldn't be able, they are the two greatest drummers I have ever heard I also think Rush are one of the greatest bands ever. It is like when Jimi Hendrix was asked "what is it like being the worlds greatest guitarist?" he said "I don't know, You should ask Rory Gallagher!" it is two masters of their art acknowledging their mutual respect and admiration.

Travis is a washed out skill less scrub. Buddy Rich has more skill in his pinky finger then Travis shit barker has in his whole body.
