Homeless and Banned

Concerned that homeless individuals have been wrongfully banned from the Mall in Columbia, the ACLU of Maryland sent a letter to Mall management and the Howard County Police Chief asking that the bans be lifted promptly. The 3/29/11 letter, sent on behalf of Anne Francis and Stephan Rabai, details how, even though they have a legitimate right to patronize stores, restaurants, and other services at the mall, they were banned in way that is unjustified and illegal.

Francis and Rabai have no record of creating disturbances. Rather, until their banning, they regularly bought food and drinks at mall restaurants, purchased clothes and other items from stores, used the bus hub located on mall property, as well as relaxed at the mall while reading books and doing crossword puzzles. Just as countless other patrons of the mall do every day.

Now the Fl governor (aka fraudulent dirt bag) is trying to criminalize feeding the homeless! All these politicians, businesses owners. et al. should lose it all... health care, employment, roof, etc. I wanna see what their opinion is then.

Thank you ACLU for standing up for what's right, though NO ONE should even have to bother. Common sense and respect should dictate it.

@nawmmbr Corporations don't check your record had AIG checked my employment record with JBHT they would have known that I turned in an employee that was telling me a story about a merchant that was offering him money to give them inside information that would make a lot of truckers dead and JBHT a few million dollars poorer I took control in situations where drivers tried to get behind the wheel when they were medically unfit they dont let each other know. They suck DICK.

@nawmmbr I had a surgery called a 360 cut back and front titanium rods and more installed. AIG stopped payments when I was out the hospito and could not wipe my ass let alone walk across the street. Texas Workers comp was revamped under Gov W Bush he gave all the power to the corporations they fight for me to get simple treatment today they are pure scum AIG is the greediest company that is why they got caught in the derivatives sting they were too greedy. They are not doing their part now!

Homeless people are banned in the Philippines from entering the mall, BUT they are tattered in rags and smell. HOW would the mall even know these well dressed individuals were homeless? This is a sad part of American, er, Worldwide, corporatism.

@nawmmbr LACA they have been caught on video dumping patients on the streets in gowns and slippers as good as putting a gun to their head. This corporate world is about one thing $ you have none then you don't deserve to live. AIG was my insurer for workers comp I had a tornado flip my truck break my back they would beat me out of a quarter a year they did this regularly and no warning you are getting your check all of a sudden you are not. It is done routienly. AIG is too big to fail? They fail

There are people that are homeless right now that have done everything right in their lives they got a degree some even doctorates and they are HL. I can understand you are probably one of those people that have never had to loose but this July you will have your chance see when the quarterly earnings report comes due this economy is going to derail like a train on a track with a washout below they are not going to be able to hide JAPAN.

Try to get a job in the mall even part time they could not run you off then bc you can say that you are starting your shift soon they ask when you are to report to work tell them that is personal. Being homeless is a bitch even if you are well kept. The thing is you carry your bags on your back they know you are outdoors best to never tell a sould you are homeless. They ask just present another question to them such as why do you ask? Who really wants to know? They will all be homeless too soon.

They found he needed a pace maker. They had security to escort him out of hospital. He said he did not feel good. They thought he wanted to stay. They found the packe maker was broken hosp report said, they fixed it with silicone and glue, rather than put in new, working one. Next day 2 security officers wheeled him to a taxi to take him to a shelter. He said he didn't feel well enough to leave. HE WAS FOUND DEAD IN HIS BED AT THE SHELTER SEVERAL HOURS LATER.
