@MaximilianHorizon How many countries have you traveled to or lived in? I've been to 4 countries, lived in 2, and have family in Mexico, US, Finland and Sweden. I think I have clear perspective of what's going on in the world. People are dying in the streets here in Sweden and we do have healthcare, but its regulated based on the amount of money each clinic can spend, so people suffer and die. Its been a big controversy here. Research instead of regurgitating what you hear.
@MaximilianHorizon you do realize most the US (including poor people) are in this 1%. There are people starving in other countries who have no clean water, decent shelter, medical care, or any formal educational system. Your $1000 scenario is not even comparable to whats going on in Europe or the US. Yes there are greedy people in the world, but trust me there are people who view Americans as greedy based on their true poverty. So, who is right and who is wrong?
Mao was a great leader, he industrialized China, he made China strong enough to challenge USA imperialism, the life expectancy went UP dramatically for the Chinese people, the Communist party granted equal rights to women, the literacy rate went up dramatic under Mao Zedong, the old religious poisons of the old way were combated, before Mao famines were a way of life for the Chinese, after Mao there has not been a single famine.
@chooechooe bullshit.
2000 d.c: 125.000 billion, 20.500$ for each person, 26.000$ if you consider the different price of living in different countries.
first place is JAPAN with 181.000$, and second USA with 144.000$
distribution data:
10% richest China own 40% of the national wealth,
10% richest USA own 70% of the national wealth
you can download the complete study at UNU-WIDER site.
maybe next time you will read something BEFORE starting to talk

@verlouria
what part of your comment have something to do with mine??
you said: "you do realize most the US (including poor people) are in this 1%"
and I said it's bullshit for 2 reason:
1) 1% of the americans owns, 40% of the AMERICAN resources, so is mathematically impossible that "most of the people" are in this 1%.
2) you do NOT have a UNIVERSAL health care system.
3) how many people die every year in usa for not being able to see a doctor?
what's your adverage life span?

"you do realize most the US (including poor people) are in this 1%"
no lol.... that's only true if you believe to live in the best country in the world and never been anywhere else.
most of the country of the world have a universal medical system, so you are actually the ones that have people who die in the streets.
for there more you dont make any sense, if you consider ONLY usa still 40% of their resources is in the hands of 1% of american people.
