  • @Peedywash I have to say, her answer is an excellent one for the purpose of avoiding taking sides in controversial political issues. Can you imagine what would happen to her fan base if she took sides on the war in Afghanistan or spoke about abortion or gay marriage. Education is the most benign political issue she could have touched on. Kudos to Taylor for her public relations ability.

  • @BlameItOnThePenguin Selfless??? Is Taylor the one paying those teacher's raises?

  • @nobleheight Unless you're just taking a government class as we speak, or majoring in gov/econ, no one is gonna remember that.

  • I totally agree with the teacher thing. love you taylor

  • Taylor's the best! Literally!

  • i remember during middle school at a party nobody wanted to hear her sing, we were like NO lol

  • Nobleheight more people vote for american idol than for the presidents sorry to bring you down but most teens and young adults till mabey 35 dont care or know much about the goverment or what federal power is.

  • i luv taylor swift and her music!!!!!!!!! she rocks<3 ily

  • Taylor is so uneducated. Doesn't she know that the President of the United States of America constitutionally does not have the power to raise teacher salaries. That is not a federal power. That is a state and local power. Sorry, Taylor, you will have to take that up with your local government.
