What is synesthesia?

sometimes when i see a person i smell what i imagine what they smell like or remember what they smell like except alot of the time i actualy smell it

Hard to deal with? At times, haha.  I get mixed up a lot in math class because I'll feel like the colors don't "match" so I'll subconsciously write down a "better" number and get things wrong, haha.

same. when i think of monday, i think of blue. when i think of tuesday i think of sort of a yellowish-orangeish. when i think of wednsday i think of a rainy, dark blue. thursday is dark red. friday is dark red. saturday, for some reason is white. and then sunday is a bright yellow. its really weird. also, some numbers i think of as masculine or femenine. like when u read a spanish word, and if it ends in "o" its masculine. And if it ends in "a", its femenine. except i dont have a patern 4 the #s

I think I have synesthesia... I associate colors with numbers, letters, and days of the week, and numbers have genders and personalities for me. I have read "A Mango-Shaped Space" and it is REALLY GOOD! :) Haha thanks for posting!!

This is really cool! I don't think I have synesthesia but I do know that I was born without the ability to smell.
