@sanfranPinkFloydfan it worked because the browser is smart enough to realize what he actually meant but the code is not valid.

@Vaporizer41 well....if you use divs you can get lost in the code,html5 tags are more organized. Also search engines were adapted to HTML5 so it really helps on SEO.

Another shortcut if you want to duplicate a line in Notepad++ is CTRL+D its very handy

Do you not have to put the slash on an ending tag in html5?
