The Cold Steel Master Hunter, It features a broad VG-1 San Mai III blade thats been flat ground to achieve the ideal blade cross-section and edge geometry. Carefully honed to razor sharpness, its edge cuts effortlessly while its dropped point simplifies the chore of field dressing and skinning. The spine of the blade is a full 3/16" thick to allow for the necessary strength and stiffness to field dress and skin the biggest animals like elk, moose, brown bear, and the African Dangerous Seven. The grip is specially designed to promote long use without fatigue. Made of the shock absorbent, slightly tacky feeling Kraton, and featuring our deeply checkered surface, it positively won't slip no matter how wet or bloody your hands get. Plus, Kraton has specially enduring advantages in that it will never rot, shrink, crack, splinter, or mildew, and is completely impervious to even the harshest weather. For safety, the Master Hunter comes in a thick, heavy Conceal-Ex™ sheath that will accommodate just about any size belt and allow you to carry it all day without fatigue.

  • @Virihaure It's the other way around. The Master Hunter was out years before the F1. Fallkniven distributed Cold Steel knives before making their own.

  • Nice looking knife.

    Good grip also.

  • @dannysees, you might be right I don't know for sure. Of course it's because I'm from Sweden that I know better about Fällkniven then Cold Steel. I think Fällkniven makes pretty good knives, I have the small folding knife U2, but they are way to expensive but also clumsy, there are lots of better knives at the market then theese knives. Thanks for sharing you knowledge. Andreas

  • @Virihaure

Cold Steel outdoor knives with kraton handles and Japanese steel have been around longer than Fallkniven's designs. Fallkniven actually got the idea to start up their own line while distributing Cold Steel knives - use slightly different steel and rubber composite for the handles and slightly alter shape/ergonomics.

Fallkniven knives only been well known for about 8 years or so and on the market for 16 years - Cold Steel around 30 years.

Fallkniven is great but facts are facts.

  • @reinder666 similar to F1, and SRK is almost S1 but quality wise... Not quite

  • gorgeous knife.

  • @tonyliyen Thanks man... Yeah I want them all... All the hunters and the SRK...LOL... So0me day soon.
