Grant Imahara 501st Honorary Member Induction

Grant Imahara, formerly of ILM, was inducted into the 501st legion as an Honorary member on April 2, 2011 during San Francisco's Wondercon. Grant has worked on the Star Wars movies as a model maker, R2 builder, special effects, and even played C3P0. He can now be seen on Discovery Networks popular Mythbusters.

The 501st Legion is an all volunteer Star Wars Imperial costuming group. They consist of the "Bad Guys" from the saga including Stormtroopers, Clone Troopers, Boba Fett, and Darth Vader. They can be seen in many countries around the world at Comic Book and Video Game Conventions, as well as Lucasfilm product launches, charity events, and birthday parties.
