  • Painfully beautiful. I always feel so bad for Cecilia when I see the look on her face when she finishes. She looks like she needs a hug.

  • I have the Farnace CD that recently came out with Max Cencic, and I can't find this aria anywhere on it! UGH! It's the reason I bought the 3 cd set in the first place! Anyone know why?

  • perfect

  • Starting at 2:10 - you hear the most beautiful performance ever given by anyone in history.

  • Me encanta!

  • Rather strange music (I'd never heard it before), but Cecilia does a beautiful job with it, as always. Thanks for posting it! :-)

  • Forever Cecilia; Forever Vivaldi

One cannot ask for a more cosmic, a more intense, and deeper aria and performance both by Cecilia and the ensemble.

Bartoli will go down in history as the best interpreter of Vivaldi and Rossini works that anyone --anyone--could ever deliver in history of history.

  • In the documentary "Jean Christophe Spinosi et son ensemble" Spinosi says that the most beautiful, but also most difficult part of being musicians is that they do not PLAY a part, but they BECOME it, and that this is the way for being able to really transmit something to the spectator/listener. Well, this interpretation by Cecilia is the definite prove of it! Incredibly intense!
