I'd suggest reading Arizona v. Gant before making any comments.

**THIS IS NOT A VIDEO ON HOW TO BEAT A SPEEDING TICKET. IT IS HOW TO REFUSE A SEARCH.**
In this video reenactment, some college students are stopped by a police officer. The driver exercises his constitutional rights and goes on about his way.

Check out my other videos to see what could have happened if he waived his rights.

This video is produced by www.flexyourrights.org and is endorsed by the ACLU and other legal organizations

  • @garciarolandr again you are incorrect. in d sp

  • @garciarolandr False! you obviously failed to did not read Arizona v Gant.

  • If you don't want the officer to be suspicious, do NOT do what these kids in the car did. Everything he did in the video along with the fake sincerity was a red flag. Yes you have rights, but act normal and don't be a Dick and you'll be fine.

  • @akeller56 Please point to the part in the video in which the driver was a dick. Thank you.

  • This is hilarious. And not even realistic.

  • @LadyLuxInterior Please elaborate.

  • I'm stunned by those who seem more than a little offended that anyone would demand their rights. In my eyes it is clearly in your own best interest. A right not exercised is a right abdicated. In a situation like this, you are likely beyond the point of a warning, and the officer is actively looking for something greater to bust you on. Whether you are guilty of something or as lily white as the driven snow, it is YOUR responsibility to demand your rights.

  • @gretschdrummer100 Oh my. Scared you might make the cop mad?

  • Ridiculous. Try that any of that in Chicago and see what happens.

  • once the guy is arrested, his vehicle would be towed and a vehicle inventory checklist would have to be conducted. anything found in the process could be used against the individual. there are loop holes to get around the arizona v gant law.

  • @bart40330 im right. once arrested, you no longer have the right to deny search. ive seen it done a hundred times. even when a guy fails to identify, an officer can make the arrest and then obtain the suspects credentials at that time. obviously you did not read the law correctly.

  • once the officer pulled the guy over for going 20mph over, all he had to do was arrest him. At that point, the guy can no longer deny the officer searching his vehicle. The dog was not necessary this time, as speeding 20mph is a jailable offense as the officer stated. He would not have had it that easy.

  • HAHAHAAHAHHAHAH Totally absurd!

  • I DID THIS TONIGHT, WORD FOR WORD IT'S ALMOST IDENTICAL. I FEEL LIKE A CHAMPION. I HAD SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!

  • Gonna throw you in a jail with some bad men, who would love to do some bad things to two skinny boys like yourselves...but not as bad as what they would do to yourself my little piglet of a public servant :)
