The easiest way to disagree with someone is to call them racist. California for Population Stabilization has an excellent website showing the negative impacts on cities with unchecked population growth. It adversely affects every aspect of quality life to include water shortages, crowded highways, air pollution, species extinction, increased respiratory diseases & other social ills. In a global society, people need to take individual responsibility for their carbon imprints & breeding choices.

Just having ALL plumbing (in colder areas) AWAY from the outside walls, then you can let temp go down in house w/out pipes freezing. Gives you freedom to use most heat ONLY when you are there. Auto-off water heater timer, like I have. Use ONLY when needed. Just to think/act smarter, and not follow herd behaviour on energy/consumption issues.

That sounds accurate. If the USA can adopt a modified "third world" lifestyle, we could gain a lot. Mass transi/ridesharing, smart/small homes, auto-off appliances, small-solar electric, localized commerce, no-mow lawns and more gardens, Cut back military and all other long commerce by 90%. Get rid of NAFTA, and don't subsidize energy/consumption.

The destruction of the earth is REAL. Just b/c his "solution" is racist doesn't make his description of the problem "false." See my comment above. He asked you for other ideas . . . . . so give him yours, then. I think that our way of life SUCKS and we gotta live more simply. We can learn from other countries/cultures that waste less.

Wiping out the WHOLE POPULATION of the USA might be a good start, if you're looking for "effective" solutions. Destroying all internal combustion engines (worldwide), and coal/electric plants is another idea. I guess there is some value to being dramatic about solutions in order to WAKE US UP, but in the process it just makes you look like Nazis.

They base this of information on per capita emissions comparing the US and other countries. Basically:

The American lifestyle pollutes a lot. If immigrants come here, they become part of the American lifestyle.

Obvious solution: Change the American lifestyle.

This videos solution: stop immigration. (and don't do anything about the ecological problems the citizens create)

Basically: You guys better stay poor so we can keep pollutin'!

Immigrants polute more here than in their home countrys because most immigrants are mexican, most illegal immigrants came here because of a lack of opertunity in their home country so obviously they would polute more since they can have a car and AC in the us but in mexico they can barely afford to feed their family. This video is trolling so hard, im sure of it.

What I got from this: People in other countries make 1/4th the carbon footprint we do. Therefor, we should keep them out of our 'Murrica.
