  • Thanks, I'll check out your home movies. We're lucky having the few that we do although the camera was never very good. It certainly gets expensive transferring them over.

  • I enjoyed looking at your movies. I think the key to stopping it flickering is something to do with the speed that the cine film is shown at. Can you slow down or speed up the rate it shows? I really enjoyed your movies especially around the pool, brings back a lot of memories.I don't know what the ship was called, there are a few in our films too.

  • Hi, I got someone on ebay to transfer the movies for me but you're right about the clarity. Mine aren't nearly as good as the originals and it seems without spending a fortune, it's hard to get good quality from the originals.

  • These are great not many people taking movies in those days so credit goes to them

    i got a few professionaly tranfered but cant save up the lollies to get the rest done

    and projectors are so fidley have look under my user name

    how did you tranfer your movies  im using a Telicine but seem to be losing a lot of clarity what ststem did you use

  • For what it is worth, I recognise the ship shown from 1:54 to 2:25. It is the Dutch Royal Interoceon Line 'Tegelberg', scrapped 1968.
