This was the last day's airshow for Cleveland. The B-1B Lancer made its last appearance to the show before heading off to Toronto on a joint venture fly-by "Mission". He's shown here haul ass by show center at around 650mph with the "Dawgs barkin!" meaning he had full burners on. Watch what he does at the end..WOO HOO!! sorryf or the unsteady cam....my hand isnt the most steadiest. Shot with a Cannon PowerShot S2.

  • I wonder he only half rolls and not just do a 360?

  • @kolbpilot that was his final and exit pass. After he did her performance for Cleveland, he rolled out and headed Northeast at speed towards Toronto, where he'd do another performance before landing for fuel. That weekend, the same Lancer performed back to back shows for Cleveland and Toronto.

  • I remember this, he be in toroto in a few minutes after that

  • @RottenAce Yup. Thats what the announcer said after he made his last fly by.

  • @TheFighterpilot93 we dont think that...we know that. 600 mill for the B-52 to be put back in the air? Its already in service in the form of the H model.

If the Vulcan was such a good aircraft, which it was for Britain only, it would still be in service like the B-52 is. The Vulcan and only lift 24,000 pounds of conventional bombs while the B-52 can lift 70,000 pounds. The Vulcan has a 2,600 mile range while the B-52 has a combat radius of 4,480 miles. Vulcan has a 610mph max speed, the B-52 is 650mph. Max take off weight of the Vulcan is 170,000 while the 52's at 488,000.

  • @6V92TA The Vulcan was designed with the sole purpose of penetrating Russian airspace in order to deliver a nuclear payload, this was because Great Britain did not have a fully functioning reliable Nuclear missile. The Vulcan became obsolete in a very short time period. It was also very agile at high altitude and delivered exactly what it was designed to do,which was not to out trump any other aircraft.

  • @RottenAce seconds, he probably gained altitude and went full speed

  • @6V92TA A B1 did the same thing at Langley 5, 7, years ago. He did that same maneuver, rolled it on its back but stops, & then comes back down the way he came up. Sorta a half roll but not really. I always wonder why not do a simple, 360 degree 1g barrel roll ? Surely the plane can take it ? Unless, it's up to the pilot & they're just doing what they want ? But, I find it odd that both planes did this, so it must be written in their flight plan for a reason.

  • @hazzaisdabombage I think ALL of the Coalition air forces rock, yours included.

  • The Royal Australian Air Force is the best airforce in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
