I recently got a Personal Message from YouTube user MarcoMinnemann and this is what he had to say about this track:

about the "Unknown Track" I asked Doug Lanford himself ;)

Wow... that's pretty cool... I don't recall that music track at all (though it has been many
years since I worked on the game).

Based on the YouTube video, it was a track played over the main menu of the game...
maybe it only appears if you complete the game and then replay it? Or something like
that?

As I said... wow... interesting to learn something new about a game I worked on more than
15 years ago :-)

MarcoMinnemann just sent me another PM and this time he asked Mr. Ron Thal himself. His words were:

" Yes, I made the song. It's 'Mythology Level 3' of the game."

So I'm guessing that this is the Mythology level's boss. I hope that clears things up a little further.

Ron Thal uploaded the tracks from the game to a bonus disc for his fans in xmas 1999 and the name on it is mythology level 1 on there but cool stuff man.

@WiisoGilgamesh1104 haha yep! They actually have two new lead guitarists... bumblefoot, who joined the band in 2006 and DJ ashba who joined the band in 2009. Theyre about to start on a Canadian tour, check em out man.. .theyre stronger than ever! But seriously, thank you for uploading this.. this game was so awesome (but so hard!)
