@FFFFbody You're absolutely 200% right! I cant see why that dumbass has got 66 "thumbs up" I did this exercise first in 1975 and back then i saw so many go RIGHT down below knee level and BOUNCE at the bottom.(which is the common BAD habit to give momentum)...and with a heavy weight on their back too. They are cripples now! The knees open up at a butt level lower than parallel to the floor and that gives arthritis in later yrs.

This exercise destroyed my knees..
But i dont blame anyone since i didnt know how to do it properly.
just keep that in mind.

@wiggs4321 That's the dumbest thing you can say. Hips do not go below the knee...if that happens you blow your knee out and the hamstrings you talk about are not strong enough.

this is wrong way to do squats if you do too many squats in this manner you will destroy your knees. Your hips must go below your knees to get your hamstrings engaged.
