@RobbieH02879 youll never see ryron in mma,hes already stated publically he has no interest and its unlikely hell ever compete again in grappling due the conflict in philosophy.He wouldnt be elite level anyway due to terrible striking,youll never see another pure grappler reach that level.I used to love watch ryron compete ,so technical,he could have been roger had he been with a competitive team ,for sure.

@RobbieH02879 id rather a black belt in mma than karate or some other shite.Obviously theyre just capitalising on mma popularity since mma is aset of rules,not a style per se.Very few arts equate the black belt with mastery like bjj,in most its supposed to just represent competence,the reality is rather differnet from what ive seen in 25 years around the arts.

I definitely wanna see Ryron and Roger Compete more, especially Ryron. That dude is a terror, good size AND technique. Ryron is supposed to be making a good run at MMA, with his solid Jiu Jitsu and the fact he wrestled in HS he should do very well. It's time for the Gracie boys to show peopel what's up now that MMA is beginning to get watered down due to the rules and all the "jack of all, master of none" types now
And I agree, Lyman would be mauled by Roger or Ryron,even Ralek would stomp him.

I don't have a problem backing up any comments. I've been training and competing for right at 17 years...how long have you been training?
If they trained for 2-3 times per day CONSISTENTLY EVERYDAY like Penn then yea..they deserve their belt if they are talented..but if they only train for 2-3 times per WEEK and get a blackbelt in 3 years then something is wrong...
Anyway..when did they start giving belts for MMA?!?! LMAO!!!
