1. Oh; that song from "Tommy Boy." 2. Anacani is actually half-Italian, half-Turkish. But she looks Mexican enough. & she did have a B- in Advanced Spanish. & w/ a Hispanic performer & a black tap dancer, "The Lawrence Welk Show" is "diverse" enough; no need for some Oriental guy. Besides, some viewers still got shell shock after fighting in whichever war in the Orient it was.

Good song. Composed by Juan Carlos Calderón (Santander, Spain), one of the most prolifics spanish music makers, and good jazzman too.

And nicely performed by that pretty chick!

When I was in the 11th grade in high school (1973-1974), our Spanish teacher made sure that we knew this song. Anacani sings it beautifully, and thanks to the Spanish teacher, I understand what she is singing about.
