Lotta opinionated southern rock fans on here. Let me give ya my 2 cents. (Whether u want it or not!) Skynyrd is pushing on, however, their new album sounds like VAN ZANT, beggin for a radio hit, Gary has turned over the lead to producers and labels, you can barely hear his guitar. Ricky outta be in charge, or go back to Blackfoot, who is on the golden oldies circuit, although Mike Estes is kickin a** as frontman. But his Skinny Molly is the balls of the genre at this time with Jay Johnson.

I've never read such crap. Artimus belongs in Skynyrd.  Johnny has lost his way and Skynyrd have become a tribute band of themselves. Skynyrd is all about merchandising and commercialism nowdays and not about writing new songs.

I always liked artimus and still do!Im tired of people putting the guy down hes a good guy and a great drummer.I wish he was still in the band alot of people do.ronnie picked him to be in the band so he is important.I SURE WISH ARTIMUS AND GARY would make up I really do.I would like to see more vids of artimus if you have them tony.thanks this is great artimus never sounded better!

@lebtu You are exactly correct, Pyle is the only member in this APB that played with the original Skynyrd. Randall Hall played on the Tribute Tour, not sure about Tim Lindsey

You gotta realize that these guys are here today, gone tomorrow. If you live in Jax you would know that.. They're all good musicians however they're on top one minute and down and out the next.They've been up, down, and around for years in all versions of different bands.. Concert halls one day and dive bars the next

there's a lot of controversy about artimus. i don't know myself. but this band ain't skynyrd. they can't copy the greatest southern rock band that ever lived. those guys are supposed to replace gary, allen, ed, and steve? not even close.
