I have a complete 65 impala 327 ss with very very few missing parts and needs the usual restoration: minor body work, replace floor pans, paint, interior redone, rebuild engine and tranny. How much do you think it would cost for me to restore it to a respectable clean condition? I have a budget around 10,000-12,000$, is that enough?

Any advice or opinions are great, thanks!

The point of a race is to put two cars next to eachother and gun the shit out of them to see wich one is faster. No one cares if the DSM is turbo or not.

If you have a muscle car and turn down a race against a turbo import, you ARE the wimp.

Learn to lose like a man.

I would still take the impala over the DSM though.

Yo fucking get off of skipdownstairs that dude had a good fucking run. DSMs are worthless? In 10 grand you can have a 11 sec high ten potential eclipse. 10k on an impala is barely a fucking seat cover. seriously dont get me wrong both cars are good and have there ups and downs.

@mlite2go part of what makes a DSM special and better than other cars is optional AWD. Which makes it easy to hook up. Big horsepower means nothing if you cant put it to the ground.
