Lilith WAS supressed by Adam. He didnt treat her as an equal, and told her to lay under her when they were conceived by God. She left Adam because he seperated everything and got out of control. Learn your shit! -090690 And there is basis for this!!! Look it up online, the Book of Lilith! DUh!

The book of Lilith??? Ummm... no. Those words that you just wrote come from a book that is a farce, a joke, making a mokery of different aspects of the stories of the Bible. It was not meant to be taken seriously. But some did. Watch the whole videos series and you'll learn something. Or... keep worshipping a demon.

what you may have experienced is called "Sleep Paralysis" it is a condition where right before you wake or dose off your mind is still going but your body has shut down.Once the mind becomes aware of the bodies inability to move your Adrenaline glands throw your conscious self into a panic/ state of shock which can cause terrifying visions and hyperventilating. ppl prone to migraines, seizures,depression or forms of sleep apnea are more likely to encounter or it could be leading 2 one of them.

Elaina, thanks for the medical advice. I am a naturopathic doctor, by the way. I am aware of this phenomenon sleep paralysis, and I have had a few cases of people having this. I also have experienced it myself. Having said that, I know this experience was not something so benign and easily dismissed as sleep paralysis.

I do think there is inherent evil in the lilith archetype, but possibly no more than was present in some religious texts. Maybe i just believe suppression of sorts is inherently wrong? As for the 'demon' lilith i believe she doesn't exist. Sorry for waffling on, i'll leave you in peace! Haha!!! The lilith archetype really interests me, but distinctions should always be made, esp where outdated texts are concerned. Peace Ax

I totally agree, i just think there are different facets to the archetype, which the 'male patriarchy' of the past has failed to recognize-all of which are not inherently evil by any stretch. What was inherently evil was the suppression and vilification of women who liked to get it on, were unmarried, had children out of wedlock or sexually explicit!

As for the marriage of lilith and Samael, aside from the villification of women and the feminine, here is, for me, another lilith, aligned with 'evil' as in witchcraft, magic and the occult. The nocturnal demoness, perhaps illusion, with a cloak of invisibility...

I don't really understand the division of l+S and A+E yet. Eve is not Adam's equal though -she was taken from Adams rib, an appendage, a wife, submissive, a man's possession. Which is what lilith bangs on about!
