yes you do, keep the empty silver shadow pan, put it back in the burned plastic part and take the whole case back..I was confused about that as well at first. The MA at Mac said they need the whole thing back. Hope that helps!1

I am new to mac and I just got some stuff yesterday. I wasn't too sure about the flat iron thing, not mention I would have to go and BUY was paper. Your method is so simple, it took less than 2 minutes, thanks for this!
