Neil Young On Lynyrd Skynyrd

A video I did in my digital communications class using the cut out talking mouth effect on a still image of Neil Young. I moved my head too much during filming and I don't sound anything like Neil, but my seriousness in the video is what makes it so funny.

Yeah, but that was a hundred years before Skynyrd wrote "Sweet Home", so that argument is pretty much moot. At the time, when Rolling Stone asked Neil Young what he thought after he was referenced in the song, he said, "I really like the way they play their guitars." Which I always thought was an utterly awesome and perfect response from one giant to others.

A lot of people don't realize, It was Neil Young's song  "Alabama" that caused Lynyrd Skynyrd to write "Sweet Home Alabama". and all I have to say on this is that, if anyone can claim the imagery portrayed in the song "Alabama" as part of a home sweet home is a very disturbed person. The Song "Alabama'" was shining a light an the oppressive Jim Crow laws of the old south and those that would defend them. It took a LOT of guts for Neil to write that song. Not too many songs like that anymore.
